Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whip 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream with 1/2 cup of powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • In another bowl, mix 8 oz of mascarpone cheese, 1/4 cup of orange juice, 1/4 cup of orange liqueur, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and 1/4 cup of orange zest until smooth.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  • Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the cooled brewed coffee and line the bottom of an 8x8 inch dish with them.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, dust the top with 1/4 cup of cocoa powder.
