Mushroom and Swiss Burger with Brioche Bun
Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 brioche buns
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup arugula
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until they are golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the beef patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
- While the patties are cooking, split the brioche buns and toast them in a separate skillet until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Spread the mixture on the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun.
- To assemble the burgers, place a beef patty with melted Swiss cheese on top of the mayonnaise and mustard mixture. Top with a portion of sautéed mushrooms and a handful of arugula. Place the top half of the brioche bun on top.
- Serve the Mushroom and Swiss Burgers immediately and enjoy!
