Muffins have a rich history dating back to 18th century England, where they were first mentioned in a cookbook by Hannah Glasse. These delightful baked goods gained popularity in the United States during the 19th century, with variations such as blueberry, chocolate chip, and bran becoming household favorites. Today, muffins are enjoyed worldwide and come in a myriad of flavors and styles. Notable chefs and bakeries, like the famous Magnolia Bakery in New York City, have elevated the muffin to an art form. For the best muffins, sourcing high-quality ingredients like fresh berries, premium flour, and real butter is essential. Whether enjoyed for breakfast or as a snack, muffins continue to be a beloved treat for people of all ages.
