Ingredients
- 1 cup of strong brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Chocolate shavings (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup of milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
- Pour the hot milk into the cocoa powder and sugar mixture, and stir until well combined.
- Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and pour it into a mug.
- Add the cocoa and milk mixture to the coffee, and stir well.
- Stir in 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- If desired, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
