  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and 2 tablespoons of sugar until smooth.
  • Pour the milk mixture into the hot coffee and stir well to combine.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract and continue to stir until the mocha is heated through.
  • Pour the mocha into a mug and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings if desired.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your homemade mocha!
