Ingredients
- 1 cup of strong brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of strong brewed coffee over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and 2 tablespoons of sugar until smooth.
- Pour the milk mixture into the hot coffee and stir well to combine.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract and continue to stir until the mocha is heated through.
- Pour the mocha into a mug and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy your homemade mocha!
