The mixed mojito is a classic Cuban cocktail that has gained popularity worldwide. Originating in Havana, it is believed to have been created by a 19th-century Cuban bartender named Don Facundo Bacardí Massó. This refreshing drink is made with white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and fresh mint, creating a perfect balance of sweetness, citrus, and minty freshness. Today, the mixed mojito can be found in bars and restaurants across the globe, with notable variations by renowned mixologists. For the best version, sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients, especially the mint and lime, is crucial to achieving the authentic and vibrant flavors of this iconic cocktail.
