Ingredients
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 shots of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee, chilled
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of spirulina powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of butterfly pea flower powder
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Blue and purple sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine 1 cup of ice, 1 cup of milk, 2 shots of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Divide the frappuccino mixture into two equal parts.
- To one part, add 1/4 teaspoon of spirulina powder and blend until the color turns green.
- To the other part, add 1/4 teaspoon of butterfly pea flower powder and blend until the color turns blue.
- In a glass, layer the blue and green frappuccino mixtures to create a marbled effect.
- Top with whipped cream and blue and purple sprinkles if desired.
