Ingredients
- 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the butter, milk, and sour cream to the pot with the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
