Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- In a large bowl, sift together 1 1/2 cups of flour, 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of white sugar.
- Make a well in the center and pour in 1 1/4 cups of milk, 1 egg, and 3 tablespoons of melted butter. Mix until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and keep warm.
- In a small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup of maple syrup over low heat until warm.
- Place a stack of pancakes on each plate, drizzle with warm maple syrup, and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
