Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup Dijon mustard and 1/4 cup maple syrup. Set aside.
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon dried thyme.
  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour the maple Dijon mixture over the chicken. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, coating the chicken evenly.
