  • Gradually add in 4 cups of all-purpose flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into 12 rectangular bars and place them on a baking sheet. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the bars for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let them cool completely.
