Ingredients
- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
- In a saucepan, combine the glutinous rice, 1 cup of coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
- In a separate saucepan, heat the remaining 1/2 cup of coconut milk over low heat until warm.
- Transfer the cooked sticky rice to a serving dish. Drizzle the warm coconut milk over the rice.
- Arrange the sliced mangoes on top of the rice.
- Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the mango sticky rice.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
