The Mango Salsa Salmon Burger with a spicy chipotle mayo is a fusion of flavors that originated in the coastal regions of Mexico and the Caribbean. This dish combines the richness of salmon with the sweetness of mango salsa and the smoky heat of chipotle mayo. Renowned chefs like Rick Bayless and Bobby Flay have popularized this dish in their restaurants, infusing it with their own unique twists. The best version of this dish can be found in coastal restaurants that source fresh salmon and ripe mangoes. The key to perfecting this dish lies in the quality of the salmon and the balance of flavors in the mango salsa and chipotle mayo. For a unique twist, some chefs also incorporate grilled pineapple into the salsa for an extra layer of sweetness and smokiness.
