Extra Old Bay Lowcountry Boil

Ingredients
- 4 quarts water
- 1/2 cup Old Bay seasoning
- 2 pounds small red potatoes
- 2 pounds smoked sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 6 ears of corn, shucked and cut into thirds
- 4 pounds large shrimp, deveined and shells on
- 2 lemons, halved
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Stir in 1/2 cup of Old Bay seasoning.
- Add the red potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the smoked sausage and corn to the pot and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked ingredients to a large serving platter.
- Squeeze the lemon halves over the seafood and vegetables.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with a tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning. Drizzle the butter mixture over the seafood and vegetables.
- Sprinkle with additional Old Bay seasoning and salt to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
