Lemongrass Beef

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 stalks lemongrass, white part only, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the beef with 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp sugar, and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the chopped lemongrass and minced garlic, stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Add the sliced onion and red bell pepper, continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice.
