Ingredients
- 1 pound of asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Place the trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of lemon zest, 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme, and 1 teaspoon of fresh rosemary.
- Drizzle the lemon herb mixture over the asparagus and toss to coat evenly.
- Spread the asparagus out in a single layer on the baking sheet and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and slightly browned, tossing once halfway through cooking.
