Ingredients
- 1 pound of sea scallops
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.

- Return the scallops to the skillet and toss to coat in the lemon garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and transfer the scallops to a serving platter.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
