Ingredients
- 1 block of halloumi cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Pita bread or flatbread for serving
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, paprika, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Brush the halloumi slices with the olive oil mixture on both sides.
- Place the halloumi slices on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear and the cheese is softened.
- Remove the grilled halloumi from the grill and arrange on a serving platter.
- Top the grilled halloumi with halved cherry tomatoes and chopped parsley.
