Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs and 1/2 cup of sugar until well combined.
  • Stir in the melted butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • Fold in the cooked egg noodles and raisins until evenly coated.
  • Pour the noodle mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and cinnamon sugar. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top of the kugel.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the kugel is set and the top is golden brown.
