Cinnamon Sugar Kugel

Ingredients
- 8 ounces wide egg noodles
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar (1 tablespoon ground cinnamon mixed with 1 tablespoon white sugar)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and 1/2 cup of sugar until well combined.
- Stir in the melted butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- Fold in the cooked egg noodles and raisins until evenly coated.
- Pour the noodle mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and cinnamon sugar. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top of the kugel.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the kugel is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow the kugel to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
