Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef, 1 small finely chopped onion, 2 minced cloves of garlic, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of ground coriander, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix the ingredients together until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the kofta balls to the skillet and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides and cooked through.
- Serve the kofta hot with rice, pita bread, or salad. Enjoy!
