  • 1 jalapeno, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, maple syrup, sesame oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and chili flakes. Add the drained and rinsed jackfruit, and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  • In another bowl, combine the shredded carrots and daikon radish with 1/4 cup rice vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Let it sit for 15 minutes to pickle.
