  • Using a sharp knife, score a deep cross on top of the loaf.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 400°F (200°C) and continue baking for another 30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
