Irish Coffee with Whipped Cream and Chocolate Shavings

Ingredients
- 1 cup of hot brewed coffee
- 1 1/2 ounces of Irish whiskey
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of chocolate shavings
Instructions
- In a heatproof glass, combine 1 cup of hot brewed coffee, 1 1/2 ounces of Irish whiskey, and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- In a separate bowl, whip 2 tablespoons of heavy cream with 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Pour the whipped cream over the back of a spoon onto the surface of the coffee to create a layer of cream on top.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of chocolate shavings over the whipped cream.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
