Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine 1 can of chickpeas, 3 tablespoons of tahini, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with a little extra olive oil, and sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon of paprika for garnish.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Cut the pita bread rounds into wedges and place them on a baking sheet. Lightly brush the wedges with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
