  • 1 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips

  • Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or place them in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. Reserve 1/2 cup of the crushed cookies for topping.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the remaining crushed cookies with 6 tablespoons of melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the instant hot chocolate mix and 2 cups of cold milk until well combined. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until fully combined. Spread this mixture over the Oreo crust.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and 3 1/4 cups of cold milk for 2 minutes. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.

Hot chocolate lasagna is a decadent dessert that originated in Italy, known for its rich layers of chocolatey goodness. This indulgent treat has gained popularity in recent years, with chefs and home cooks putting their own spin on the classic recipe. The layers typically consist of chocolate cookies, creamy chocolate filling, and a generous topping of whipped cream and chocolate shavings. While it's not a traditional lasagna, it has become a beloved dessert in many regions, especially in Italian-inspired restaurants and bakeries. For the best version of this dish, look for a recipe that uses high-quality chocolate and fresh cream to achieve a luscious, velvety texture.
