Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup honey, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the honey mustard mixture over the chicken. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the used marinade.
  • Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the juices run clear.
  • During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the chicken with the remaining honey mustard mixture.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve the honey mustard chicken with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
