Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of honey, and the minced garlic. Set aside.
  • In another small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1/4 cup of water to create a slurry. Set aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping occasionally, until all sides are golden and crispy. Remove tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they are bright green and slightly tender.
  • Return the tofu to the skillet with the broccoli. Pour the soy sauce and honey mixture over the tofu and broccoli. Stir to coat evenly.
  • Pour the cornstarch slurry into the skillet and stir gently. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu and broccoli.
  • Remove from heat and transfer the honey garlic tofu and broccoli to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  • Serve the honey garlic tofu and broccoli over cooked rice. Enjoy!
