Instructions

  • Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and cut the racks into smaller sections to fit into the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, mix together 1 cup of honey, 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of ketchup, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the ribs in the slow cooker and pour the honey garlic sauce over them, making sure they are well coated.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the ribs are tender and cooked through.
  • Once the ribs are done, remove them from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet.
  • In a small saucepan, mix together 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Add the liquid from the slow cooker to the saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  • Brush the thickened sauce over the ribs and broil in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
  • Serve the ribs hot and enjoy!
