Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of honey, 3 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Set aside.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the salmon fillets, skin side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon is cooked halfway through.
- Flip the salmon fillets and pour the honey garlic glaze over the top. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, basting the salmon with the glaze, until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze has thickened.
- Sprinkle the cooked salmon with 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds and garnish with thinly sliced green onions, if desired.
- Serve the honey garlic glazed salmon immediately, and enjoy!
