- 1 whole chicken (about 4 pounds)
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup honey, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 4 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- Brush the honey balsamic glaze all over the chicken, making sure to coat it evenly.
- Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden brown and crispy.
- Baste the chicken with the pan juices and glaze every 20 minutes during cooking.
- Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
