Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • During the last 2 minutes of grilling, brush the burger patties with teriyaki sauce and place a slice of pineapple on top of each patty. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the pineapple and allow it to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, a slice of red onion, and the teriyaki-glazed pineapple burger patty with melted Swiss cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Top with the other half of the bun.
