Classic Hamburger

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of tomato
- 1/2 cup of sliced onions
- 1/4 cup of ketchup
- 1/4 cup of mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape them into patties.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and let it melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute.
- Assemble the hamburgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun, then topping with a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and some sliced onions.
- Spread ketchup and mustard on the top half of the buns, then place them on top of the assembled burgers.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your classic hamburger!
