Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup honey, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon olive oil to make the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- While the salmon is grilling, prepare the balsamic glaze. In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar and 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the glaze has thickened slightly.
- Once the salmon is done, remove it from the grill and drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top. Serve immediately and enjoy!
