Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup honey, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the glaze has thickened slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the balsamic glaze onto the chicken, turning and brushing several times until the chicken is nicely glazed and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve the grilled chicken with any remaining balsamic glaze drizzled on top. Enjoy!
