Ingredients
- 4 bison steaks, 8 oz each
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together 2 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper to create the spicy rub.
- Rub the spicy mixture onto both sides of the bison steaks, then drizzle with 2 tbsp of olive oil and let them sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to high heat.
- Place the bison steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if desired.
- Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
