  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 pita bread rounds
  • 1 cup Tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced cucumbers
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced cucumbers
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the thinly sliced chicken breasts to the bowl and toss to coat the chicken in the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken slices and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Warm the pita bread rounds in the oven or on the stovetop.
  • To assemble the gyros, spread a generous amount of Tzatziki sauce on each pita bread round. Top with the cooked chicken slices, diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers, sliced red onions, crumbled feta cheese, and chopped fresh parsley.
  • Fold the pita bread in half and serve the Greek chicken gyros immediately. Enjoy!
