Ingredients
- 2 cans (14.75 oz each) of salmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped green bell pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the drained and flaked salmon, 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion, and 1/4 cup of finely chopped green bell pepper.
- In a separate bowl, mix together 2 beaten eggs, 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over the salmon mixture and gently mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Carefully place the salmon patties in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
- Serve the salmon patties hot with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
