Grandma's old fashioned salmon patties recipe has been a beloved dish in Southern cuisine for generations. This classic recipe has been passed down through families, with each generation adding their own touch. The dish originated as a way to make the most of canned salmon during times of scarcity. The key ingredients include canned salmon, breadcrumbs, eggs, and seasonings. The patties are then pan-fried to golden perfection. Today, the best versions of this dish can be found in Southern diners and home kitchens. The key to getting it right lies in using high-quality canned salmon and achieving the perfect balance of seasonings.
