  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup of broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup of sliced carrots
  • 1/4 cup of sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup of spicy chili sauce
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Add the cubed tofu and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced red and green bell peppers, broccoli florets, and sliced carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Return the cooked tofu to the skillet and add 1/4 cup of spicy chili sauce. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the sliced green onions and chopped cilantro.
  • Serve the spicy garlic ginger tofu stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles. Enjoy!
