Garlic Butter Steak

Ingredients
- 2 8oz ribeye steaks
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks on both sides with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer to desired doneness.
- In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add 4 cloves of minced garlic, 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, and 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary to the skillet.
- Tilt the skillet and spoon the melted garlic butter over the steaks continuously for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve the steaks with the garlic butter sauce drizzled on top and enjoy!
