  • 8 oz of linguine pasta
  • 1 lb of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup of the butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1/4 cup of butter. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Add the cooked linguine pasta and chopped parsley. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
