Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
- 8 oz of linguine pasta
- 1 lb of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup of the butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1/4 cup of butter. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Add the cooked linguine pasta and chopped parsley. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
