Ingredients
- 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add 1/4 cup of unsalted butter to the skillet and let it melt.
- Once the butter is melted, add 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet.
- Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
- Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice over the shrimp and stir to combine.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley over the shrimp.
