  • 1/2 Asian pear, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Galbi, a popular Korean dish, consists of marinated beef short ribs grilled to perfection. This savory and slightly sweet dish has a rich history dating back to ancient Korea. Traditionally, Galbi was prepared for special occasions and celebrations, showcasing the skill of the chef. Today, it's a staple in Korean cuisine, with variations in marinades and grilling techniques across different regions. The best Galbi can be found in Seoul, where renowned chefs meticulously prepare the dish using high-quality beef and a secret blend of soy sauce, garlic, and pear. For an alternative method, consider braising the ribs for a tender, succulent result.
