Ingredients
- 1 box of cake mix (flavor of your choice)
- 1/2 cup of frosting (flavor that complements the cake)
- 1 package of candy melts (color of your choice)
- 24 cake pop sticks
- Edible glitter
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to the instructions on the box. Allow it to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
- Add 1/2 cup of frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into 24 evenly sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Melt the candy melts according to the package instructions. Dip the tip of each cake pop stick into the melted candy and insert it into a cake ball. Let the candy coating set.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the cake pops back on the lined baking sheet to set.
- Sprinkle edible glitter over the cake pops while the candy coating is still wet to add extra sparkle.
- Allow the cake pops to fully set before serving or storing in an airtight container.
