Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 package (10 oz) of marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup of white frosting
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of butter over low heat.
- Add the entire package of marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Add 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir until well coated.
- Using buttered hands, press the mixture into a 13x9 inch pan lined with wax paper. Allow it to cool.
- Once the Rice Krispie mixture has cooled, use a football-shaped cookie cutter to cut out football shapes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Dip one end of each football-shaped Rice Krispie treat into the melted chocolate to create the football's stripes. Place them on a wax paper-lined baking sheet to set.
- In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Transfer the melted white chocolate to a piping bag or a small plastic bag with a tiny corner snipped off. Pipe the white chocolate onto the football-shaped treats to create the laces of the football.
- Allow the chocolate to set before serving. If desired, use the white frosting to add additional details to the football treats. Enjoy!
