- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure peppermint extract

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups heavy cream, 1 cup whole milk, and 3/4 cup granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add 1 teaspoon pure peppermint extract and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract to the cream mixture. If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring for a minty hue.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, or until the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency.
