Egg punch, also known as egg nog, has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. This creamy, indulgent drink is traditionally made with milk, cream, sugar, and whipped eggs, often spiked with rum, brandy, or bourbon. It's a popular holiday beverage in many countries, especially in the United States and Europe. Chefs and mixologists have put their own spin on this classic, adding spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla for extra flavor. In the modern era, egg punch has become a staple at festive gatherings and is often enjoyed during the winter months.
