Cinnamon Sugar Donut Sticks

Ingredients
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a donut stick pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs, then add 1/2 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut stick pan, filling each mold about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the donut sticks are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
- While the donut sticks are still warm, brush each stick with melted butter and then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
- Serve the cinnamon sugar donut sticks warm and enjoy!
