Ingredients
- 1 loaf Cuban bread, cut into 6-inch sections and split lengthwise
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of roasted pork
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 8 dill pickle slices
- 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet or panini press over medium heat.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of mustard on the bottom half of each Cuban bread section.
- Layer 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of roasted pork, and 2 slices of Swiss cheese on top of the mustard on each bread section.
- Place 4 pickle slices on top of the cheese on each bread section.
- Close the sandwiches with the top half of the Cuban bread.
- Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the outside of each sandwich.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet or panini press and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Slice the sandwiches in half diagonally and serve hot.
