Ingredients
- 2 pounds of beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 4 cups of beef broth
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 2 stalks of celery, chopped
- 1 cup of frozen peas
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
- Add the beef stew meat to the flour mixture and toss to coat evenly.
- Place the coated beef stew meat into the crockpot.
- Add 4 cups of beef broth and 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the crockpot.
- Stir in the chopped onion, sliced carrots, diced potatoes, and chopped celery.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Stir in the frozen peas during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
