Ingredients

- 1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
- 1/2 cup warm 2% milk (110° to 115°)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 to 4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- For the filling:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- For the cream cheese glaze:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the caramel drizzle:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, dissolve 1 package of yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Let it stand for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, butter, salt, eggs, yeast mixture, and 2 cups of flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.

- Place rolls, cut side down, in a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
- In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Beat in confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Spread over warm rolls.
- In a small saucepan, combine granulated sugar and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted and mixture is golden brown. Remove from heat; gradually stir in cream. Return to heat; cook and stir until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and salt. Drizzle over rolls. Serve warm.
